A.   Introduction
Some people in parts of Ontario recently experienced a natural phenomenon called a tornado. It raced through communities, touching down, and then leaving as quickly as it came. There’s a chance that a tornado could spin through your city. There are many important facts and tips to learn about tornadoes in order to keep safe and to know what to look out for.
B.   The Challenge
Do research on the internet to find information on tornadoes in Ontario. You’ll research how they’re created, what you can do to prepare and protect yourself, where and when they usually touch down, and what the chances are of a tornado coming to a city near you! Then, you’ll draw a map of Ontario and mark three locations of major tornadoes that occurred closest to your city.
